My only issue is the history of former Patriot assistants doing almost nothing outside the wings of Bilichick.
I don't think that applies to Flores(so far). Granted, he wasn't able to put a great team together in Miami but his defense is pretty good. Give him the pieces that the Rams have to work with, assuming it's a scheme fit, and I'd be more than happy to get Flores. I'd consider it a huge upgrade as little as I think of Morris. Morris has never done anything as a DC/HC. It shows as the Rams DC. He has not adjusted or improved from day 1. He does what he can do and that's all he has. Which is to rush 4, hope for pressure and play soft to keep everything in front of the defense. Would any DC in coaching be any worse? I don't think so. Morris brings nothing to the table that literally any other coach wouldn't bring.
