We've seen this narrative play out so many times against San Francisco. They beat us up in the trenches and control the football game on offense and defense. But usually a flustered golf has the Rams offense sputtering for 60 minutes. This time around Stafford had 220 yards, three touchdowns and one interception, while being pressured relentlessly all game long. This was actually the game where Stafford showed why we traded for him. Because instead of being down big against the niners or in a defensive struggle we were up 24-17 with 90 seconds to go. PFF says he was pressured on 20 out of 37 dropbacks. Takes a lot of guts to play decent under those circumstances
