The Offense is the Key

January 08, 2022 08:22AM
All things considered I believe the Rams offense is the key to tomorrow's game. They need to come out and be ready to kick some arse. They need to protect the ball and get points on the board in the form of TD's. If they do that it will force the Niners to play out of their element. It will help to neutralize their running game and play to the strength of our defense. If the Rams offense sputters and has alot of 3 and outs or turns it over..... forget about it. The Niners will score points but we need to have them playing in catch up mode, not controlling the tempo and dictating to the Rams. The defense may come out and play a great game, who knows. They need to at any rate. But the offense needs to get going early and often, which has been a problem all year. I think the fans on this board will have a good idea how the game will play out after the Rams first couple of offensive possessions. I think I will. McVay needs to have a great game calling plays and putting our offense in good position. This will greatly help the defense. This can't be another game where McVay is outcoached by Shanahan.....

This is more or less a "captain obvious" post but the Rams need to win this game.

Period.
