Yeah, they consistently ran for 3-4 yards per attempt, were in 2nd and 3rd and short way too often, and Garrapolo got the ball out quickly. Absolutely. That's what they do. I would like to have seen the defense press receivers and force him to hold the ball longer and get them out of their comfort zone.
And the offense was indeed atrocious. What concerns me is that there was not a small gap between these teams -- it was pretty big. They handed us our asses and we need to be a LOT better to win this game. But if we keep doing the same things we did on both offense on defense that we did last time, I expect a similar result this time. Sure hope I'm wrong.
