Yeah, regardless of whether he was too injured to play, if you don't do what your coaches ask...tell you to do, you're not going to keep your job. Much less making a spectacle of yourself and quitting on the team. Not to mention, he didn't look too injured to be hopping around in the end zone, begging for one last bit of attention. If he was healthy enough for that, he was healthy enough to be on the field and at the very least, be a decoy. How does he know that wasn't exactly why they wanted him back in?
