This stuff is almost like politics. Pull up the stats you want, apply no context, and then spin it to try to validate your point of view.
And for reasons that simply amaze me, winning seems absolutely secondary. The "main thing" has been pushed to the back of the bus.
And BTW: QBs are a big part of a football team the same way Pitchers are in baseball. But you also have to have a complete team around you to go very far. QBs and Pitchers may indeed have an oversized effect on any game, but without all the other players playing well winning goes down the tubes.
Take GB for example. Rogers' greatness is a given. But over the last few years their defense has lagged behind. This year Rogers is the same Rogers, but their defense has really come to play and so the wins have piled up.
The NFL is the ultimate TEAM sport. Brady on a bad team will have a poor win total the same way Rogers would.
