How clueless were Rams reporters on the LT situation

December 28, 2021 08:07AM
All I head all week was that if Notboom and Whit couldn't go it would be Evans or Anchrum to play LT. One article mentioned sliding Evans over but said it's wasn't likely because he hadn't played tackle since college. They also said it was unlikely that Shelton would play LG because he hadn't played that spot. So..surprise, surprise the game starts and it's Evans at LT and Shelton at LG. Also never mentioned in the run up to the game was Jackson as an option. Even though he had a lot of pre-season snaps at tackle and, as I recall, played pretty well there. He also was a 3 or 4 year starter at LT at Iowa if I recall. So who comes in when Allen goes down - Jackson.

Wondering if the Rams reporters have any idea at all of the decision making inside the building week in and week out.
