I do agree with the article, especially the fact that we gave up a lot and he is not playing like an elite QB.
However, I do have much more confidence in Stafford than I would if Goff was still the QB. This Sunday is one of the reasons. Even though he made giant mistakes, He continued to play in the same manner until the very end. When Goff had games like that, he would seem to go into a shell and you knew he wasn't coming out until the next game.
I am disappointed in Stafford so far despite his stats. Those "I'm in trouble so I'll just chuck the ball in the direction of a Ram player" deep in our own territory are mistakes a first or second year QB makes. Those type of plays can doom a team in the playoffs. That worries me in the one and done manner of the playoffs.
But again, I'm thankful we have Stafford going into the playoffs instead of Goff.
