If Lott does not deflect the TD to Flipper and a 10 to 0 lead by the Rams at Candlestick, the Rams would have won it all. That play deflated the Rams. They were mentally exhausted. They had just won FOUR playoff games in a row....THREE being on the extreme East Coast in back to back to back weeks. I say four because they HAD to beat the Jets at Anaheim and the Pats in New England (On Christmas Day by the way)
It was a HELLUVA run by a exciting Rams team. It has always pissed me off that all some fans wanna talk about is the "Phantom Sack" after all Everet did to get us in that position.
