Too early predictions on the NFC West final results.

I must preface this with saying that anything can happen when you factor in Covid, injuries, and the fact that clunkers happen.

That said, I see this: the Cards won't win another regular season game this year. Their goose is cooked. Losing Hopkins is huge for them in the same way losing Kupp would be catastrophic for the Rams. They have been trending down for several weeks. The Colts will beat the Cards this week. The Colts are super strong in the 2 things that are the Achilles Heel for the Cards: They are great at running the ball, and they have a very good Defense.

The Rams may win out. So much rests on tomorrow's game with the Seahawks. Should the Rams win (they ought to), then they are on the road to winning the NFC West outright. The Rams are getting healthy, may have caught a break on this Covid thing (by having new League rules for vaccinated players), and have regained their footing. The Cards game was maybe their best this season. The Rams (currently) are better than any of the teams remaining on their schedule including the Ravens. Whether they play to that level of course is the issue.

The Niners are coming on strong and will probably be the Rams biggest obstacle to winning out. This is darn good team.
