I saw a lot tighter coverage most of the game by the Rams secondary than what we've seen for most of the season.
Williams does much better in press man than he does in zone. And I think he proved he can stay with very good WRs in man coverage.
I though Long looked better in man coverage as well. In Zone, it looks like he's always a day late and a dollar short.
Sometimes I think it is just better mentally to play man because it necessarily requires aggressiveness, physicality and being sharp. Of course the guys have to be able to do that, but it seems to me that Long and Williams can. And of course that is how Ramsey loves to play. I hope Morris plays it more that way early in the game until the Rams get a good lead. Then go into the soft shell to burn time.
