I disagree. I think Ramgator's point does apply to Stafford and his mention of Steve Young is a perfect example.
Maybe Stafford's "Mr. Hyde" was a result of him being worn down by carrying too much of the load all the time.
No QB is perfect. I'm one of the more pessimistic guys on this board but I think Stafford is going to continue to improve as he becomes more comfortable with his new team and setting.
to Young does not apply because Young was with Tampa a short time--when he got to SF he was great right away, he just was stuck behind Montana.
Stafford is what he is---he played great early, had a Mr Hyde slump, now is back to playing great. We just hope Mr Hyde is gone for the rest of the season. But we juts don't know... he could be back...I just hope not
