Actually, McVay is ahead of Martz if you compare apples to apples.

McVay has coached 16 regular games in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and so far... 12 games in 2021, which is his 5th year. That's 76 games.

Let's look at the 16 regular games Martz coached in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and the first 12 games the Rams played in 2004, which was his 5th year, That's 76 games.

McVay's record = 51-25

McVay has the better record AT THIS POINT when looking at both men's records after 76 REGULAR SEASON games as the Rams head coach.
