I, for one, do not favor firing Morris midseason.
However…
I do favor McVay insisting on a more aggressive D and pitching this soft zone semi prevent type D. If Morris can’t or won’t, THEN I would consider showing him the door.
Forget the X’s and O’s For just a moment. It’s really all about results. The results under Morris are not nearly good enough So, something’s gotta change. If not Morris himself then certainly his methods.
Otherwise we are looking at Einstein’s definition of insanity by continuing to do the same thing.
