1st because what I say doesn't matter, 2nd because they don't need me to excuse them...they're NFL players I'm not, 3rd because how I see it and explained it should make sense and I believe it to be true. If you disagree so be it.
Did you see them getting handled or failing to beat anyone of those backup players one on one? Did they get somewhere near the Covid Liar when his average time to get the ball out was under 3 seconds, 3 seconds is the NFL average, I am happy to listen and learn if you have a better explanation other than Donald and Miller are washed up, because in my opinion they arent...If you have a better reason for it, I'm all ears.
If the D is easy to read and the players playing the D don't execute it well then other teams will beat them and other good teams will make it look easy.
