McVay needs to stop with the long developing deep passes that put so much pressure on his offensive line to hold up. Hopefully OBJ can be that physical receiver that can take a quick short pass and take it to the house like Deebo the next time the 2 team meet. McVay needs to run Sony Michel and Henderson down the 49ers defense throat from the start and avoid the long developing deep passes and turnovers to start the game.
I thought Stafford had decent protection last night. But SF was playing their DB's extremely tight to our receivers. (Are you listening Morris?) My impression is that in doing so it was causing Staff to question his targets and for our receivers to hear footsteps and bobble the ball.
Stafford looked a lot like Goff last night, afraid to throw to a receiver unless he was wide open.
