He doesn't trust our backs. It's crazy man. Stafford is out there struggling and needs to settle down, which means you run the ball. Two games in a row now he's all hyped up and making mistakes and meanwhile what do the 9ers do? Run the ball and let Jimmy get into the flow of the game.
I think McVay is putting too much on 9. I get that he trusts his arm and talent too. But QB is hard at this level man, and when teams think the pass game is the only threat and they're hellbent on stopping it you gotta pound the rock.
