This is on you. I know it is. When you go to sleep you know it too. So does my dog. You want so bad to be in the limelight when the SB is at So Fi. It's not enough you insist it be the Rams. So what do you do? You give away the future so you can have your toys in full display on February 13, 2022. You make sure your Ram management understands and you make sure they get "stars" on the team. Because, not being a football man, you believe "stars" can get you to the SB. Snead follows your directive and gets "stars" -even makes some good deals from a "financial" perspective. But what you don't get is what was seen on the field tonight. Tough, tough O line and D line by the Niners. Niner mediocre qb all day and night to pass. Rams "star" qb under pressure all night and clearly rattled -who wouldn't be. It may be time to accept that a team with a few all pros and HOF candidates will never be as good as a team "complete" with good players that play tough-like football. And to think that Snead and Mcvay -under your directions-has given away so much in draft capital just for February 13, 2022 without addressing the grunts. No Mr. Kroenke this is not all on Mcvay or Snead or the players who were assembled under your paychecks. Far from it.

Niners are 4-5 and probably will miss playoffs again
Rams are 7-3 and most likely a lock to make the playoffs again
In times like this, just about the only thing that I can still tell myself to feel better is:
1. The Rams have some new players that are still trying to get up to speed in starting roles. Will they be better down the line than they are now? I'd say, chances are good.
2. The Bucs were 7-5 last year before they really took off and finally gelled as a team. Can Stafford and the Rams do something similar, maybe.
3. Bucs made it to the big dance as a wild card team, it is possible but difficult.
4. The Rams have two weeks to get right and come up with a plan for Green Bay. Maybe Arron Jones misses the game? I hope so.
