McVay's play calling goes all pass happy when he is behind.
Instead of clawing his way back, he goes for chunk passing plays.
He is too impatient.
This makes the Defense just tee up on the offensive line.
Balance play calling in the first half would keep the Rams in the game and still have the opponents team guessing.
His impatience is irrelevant on whether or not he thinks he has a defense that can get the ball back as he's been like this in previous years.
That's partly probably why his record from behind isn't that strong.
