Your defense of this horrible DC just blows my mind brother! I am sure he appreciates your support!
I have a feeling you will still be a fan of his after he is fired during the off season.
The name MORRIS rhymes with POROUS which is just how his D plays! This clown has to go and he can take the ST coach with him!
Rams are 11th in total yards
Rams are 10th in rushing
Rams are 8th in yards per rush
Rams are 9th in yards per passing play
Rams are 5th in INT%
Rams are 1st in sacks
Rams are 6th in sack %
Rams are 5th in INTs
Rams are 2nd in fewest TD passes allowed
Rams are 2nd in lowest TD% allowed
Rams are 7th in defensive passer rating
They are 10th in Red zone defense
Rams are 7th in 4th down defense
Rams are 18th in points allowed--take out 3 pick 6s and they'd be 12th
They are bad 25th on 3rd down--
3rd down is a VERY key down, don't you think? Also, don't we lead the league at giving up double digit drives to opposing offenses? 2 very big things that good teams will use to beat us with when it counts...and are.
We have played some pretty bad teams so the stats don't tell the whole story IMO. Do you have the stats for when we play against the "better" teams? How do we rank against them? Just curious.
You go on a rank like this defense is god-awful and now you want to whine about good stats. Watch some other teams play---then you will see some bad defense. And after 10 games---stats start to reflect a lot. I mean how can Rams promote and talk about how great Staley was and his top ranked defense in this and that and then when Morris's stats reflect a defense that has regressed but is not at the bottom his stats don't count
The deal is this defense is much better than these crazy "fire the DC" rants.
And yes, the defense is not as good as last year.
And Rams fans don't know what bad defense is--ust look around the NFL.
