Sorry-but no qb can perform to his natural capabilities with that pressure. Not Stafford-not Goff. And IMO you don't give up years of draft choices for a very good qb. All one needs to do is look at the Lions over the years with Stafford as their qb and then look at their O line. Ask Goff how is that O line protecting him today. IMO if you want to look at who may have been responsible for tonight-just look at Stan. He wants to win NOW because so he can claim the SB in his own stadium. He agreed with McVay you can't get there with Goff "Now". So give up the future with drafts that would infuse the O line ? No that would take years to develope. Quick answer-get the best qb on the market. So we went out and got a very, very good qb-But we gave up years of draft choices that would have built up an O line that could have taken a good-not necessarily a very, very good qb into the SB.
