McVay has been using Woods a lot as a stalking horse to get Cooper open this year. Having him run a route that because of his reputation draws attention and then Kupp runs a slower developing route in the spot that Woods vacates. Stafford obviously looks for Kupp first and if he is open he is getting the ball, before this year neither Woods or Kupp were looked for over the other in other words who was the primary receiver was split more evenly but this year that doesn't appear to be the case, not an issue but some are like they used to be equals and now Cooper is smoking him but that isn't an apple to apple comparison.
