First off if you load up some of our games this year you'll see Hollins, Oko and Lewis losing contain. It's been our biggest problem on that side, that plus inconsistent pressure. Contain has been an enormous issue for our defense (both run and pass) and hurt us badly vs Arizona.

Re: Von he was used on the strong side a lot for Denver which doesn't happen if you're a run game liability. He's not that young guy who teams would run at like he was back in the day due to his pass rush being so much better than his run defense. He's a vet with a well rounded game but when he gets paired with AD he's going to see a lot of snaps where he's got one guy to beat.

This is going to be fun I think. If you look up our pressure rate we've actually been middle of the pack, which I find interesting given how good our passer rating against is. This means an uptick in pressures which they should get with Von out there may give this defense a chance to grow into the kind of playoff defense that eats QBs.
