Injuries are inevitable in the NFL. So it is critical that a team with playoff hopes have able back ups. And if those back ups are the young inexperienced guys, they need all the live reps they can get.
I think our younger guys have done fine. About what one would expect; 1 good play and 1 not so good. But our CBs are not being overwhelmed by any means.
So unless D. Williams' injury is going to be a lingering one (and I'm sure the Rams will want to get him 100% healthy if possible) for the remainder of the year, the Rams in some ways may gain from his temporary loss.
