On the year, Stafford has a 116.3 rating and today he posted a 117.

And, as others have pointed out, today's game was a microcosm of the whole Goff/Stafford trade. Stafford pushed the ball down the field consistently, made big plays and scored TD's in the red zone. Goff put up some numbers but had 2 turnovers and fizzled in the red zone. Stafford managed the game and wound up leading the Rams to victory. Goff found a way to lose.

As great as Stafford has been, it's difficult to comprehend the numbers that Kupp is almost quietly putting up. Literally better than anyone else who has ever played the game to this point in the season. I wouldn't say that I take it for granted but I do admit, it doesn't seem "real". It's probably because Kupp doesn't do what he does in a flashy, loud, "look at me", diva way. He is very workmanlike and methodical in his production but the numbers are staggering.

Still love Matt Gay. Can't believe how good he's been for us.

Would have really liked it if Jefferson had made a play on that deep pass that went off his hands. Thought the effort on that play was lacking. He had a couple of catches but also a couple of lesser plays. Wish he would step up more.

Higbee continues to grow. He won't make anything think of Kelce or Gronk but he's becoming a very good pass catcher and dependable in crunch situations.

The OL and running game is barely mediocre. I don't know what can be done there. For us to struggle like that against one of the worst rushing defenses in the league is disheartening. Especially considering how effective our passing game was. Our OL is not winning it's individual battles and our success running depends too much on fooling the defense.

Oh, almost forgot to make a point of highlighting Stafford's zero turnovers. As impressive as his production was, I was most pleased that he didn't have any lapses or cold streaks or sloppy turnovers. It makes such a huge difference and he has a history of having those sometimes. Super clean game by him.
