What glorious days those were. Back in 1983 Fresno won the NIT Tournament... the team was greeted at the Fresno airport and a parade then ensued to the campus where a victory rally was held. My son was 12 then and he and I attended.
Greg can correct me if I'm wrong here... but I believe that may have been Fresno's largest ever sports celebration.
Either that or when the baseball team won the NCAA title in 2008. That celebration after the NIT was crazy, though.
