I take your point about the specific source here. I never pay attention to what talking head is saying what.
I guess the larger question is the generic context of this sort of piece. They are inevitably tendentious according to whatever the writer's agenda is. And they serve no purpose that makes sense to me. Ratings lists, power rankings ... none of it matters. The games will determine the top players and teams.
Kyler Murray beat Matt Stafford on the field. They'll meet at least once more. Stafford beat Brady. The games are what matter.
