I didn't miss the whole day of football, but I did miss the Rams game (the ONE game I wanted to see!). My 5-year old grandson was jonesing for grandma, so he got dropped off at my house right at kickoff. I had the game on in the background but I probably only got to watch 5 minutes of it all together. Later in the day, my grandson was complaining that his feet hurt and that they were itchy. Took his shoes off and his feet were red and kind of swollen because his shoes were too small. Well, grandma can't have that!! So, we headed for the shoe store to get him some new shoes. After shopping for shoes and then taking him home, by the time I got home myself, it was 3:00 and the Rams-Giants game was over. All was not lost though. I did manage to watch NFL games for the rest of the afternoon and evening. Just not the one I really wanted to watch. I have the replay, though, so will watch it soon.
