The Cards barely beat a highly depleted Niners team, and they play a style that is entirely dependent on the QB scrambling and making plays with his legs. That is a boom or bust proposition. So if somehow, miraculously, Murphy can remain healthy, they are a real threat.

That said, you can already see the wear and tear on Murphy, and it won't get any better because his style of play dictates it. Wilson survived it because he may not be tall, but he's built like a LB, and at least tries to avoid the bigger hits.
