Is it a good thing or bad thing that it's been going on all year? I mean, the misses are never good but I suppose that since he's been dealing with this pretty much all along, maybe it's something that will be corrected?
The misses have seemed inexplicable though. Wide open stuff that he should be hitting in his sleep. Which makes it seem to me that he's got an injury that he's trying to play through. Honestly, I'd like to see him don the gloves. The way he's losing control makes me think it's a grip issue and the gloves might help that. With the long throws, if he doesn't have enough grip control, it might explain the consistently underthrown passes. It might also explain the overthrown zip passes. When he tries to fire the fastball, they often go (way)high, which again suggests a grip problem to me.
