John Johnson recessed heavily in his second year under Wade Phillips. Taylor Rapp went from DROY candidate to riding the pine the next season. Fuller had Johnson next to him. Now he's the play caller of the defense. Big change. And let's not forget that defenses already vary greatly from year to year. There are actually a lot of variables in play including the fact that Morris is trying to learn and execute a system that isn't his own. I'm sure it all plays its part but I guess what I'm getting at is, I don't for a second believe that these players are only failing because of the system. I think they're regressing because it happens.
