As for why did Staley work and Morris doesn't seem too, even though it's the same system.... easy answer to me. Morris isn't Staley. Doesn't matter if the 'scheme' is the same it's the coaching, adapting, adjusting, that tells the tale... not the title of the page.
that's the problem....it isn't the same scheme.....Morris brought in his own scheme and tried to fix something that wasn't broke.
we should have just stayed in house with the the DC like Pleasant or Joe Barry who knows the Staley defense....not saying it would have been seamless, but I think we'd be better on defense right now.
