And I don't mean that to be a validation of our D. But you simply can't ignore the fact that they've won 3 and lost 1 with that D. I've seen only very 'slight' variations of the D in the 4 games... some with a keener eye can probably discern more?
Now I really don't believe this next is, can be, true... but that game had the appearance of a mindset that looked like: "Hey, soft is working, lets play softer".
I'm not qualified to offer a 'fix'.... but since and including game 1 I have wondered if our D personnel is better suited to a much more aggressive D. I think I DID see that against the Buc's... at least as far as tackling, not so much the coverage being tighter. Absolutely no one on this roster, or maybe the league, can do what Ramsey does... but I do wonder if the others should play more closely to the way Ramsey attacks than they are now.
Too much concentration on the 'deep threat', IMHO. Deep routes on their own will fail a big % of the time. You want their O to make their own mistakes? Take away everything short. - JamesJM
