I chalk it up to a bad week for Stafford (among many others). It happens to everyone. But his game yesterday was not "good enough to win." By any means.
That final drive down 37-13 he went 7/7 for 69 yards a the TD. Going
into that drive his QB rating for the game was 72.1. That doesn't cut it unless your defense is playing absolutely lights out.
And speaking of which, in my opinion it was irresponsible to play Stafford (and several others) on that final drive. You're down 24 points with 3+ minutes left. Put in Wolford, Funk, Atwell, Harris, Mundt, etc. and just get out of there. All that drive did was expose key players to possible injury.
