WTH did McVay abandon the running game when the outcome was still in doubt? Cards seemed to be selling out to stop the pass, so why keep passing when the run game was clicking beautifully? McVay made a similar mistake vs Miami last year. Thought he’d learned his lesson.
What was the reasoning behind having edge rushers take the inside route against a QB that absolutely, positively HAD to be contained? Happened multiple times.
Is McVay planning on extended tackling drills in practice? ‘Cause a lot of improvement is definitely needed.
Please explain how, in a game where OL played well and running game was really clicking and QB had little pressure there could be such an abysmal Offensive output in yardage, TOP, and points scored? Difficult to connect all those dots, don’t you think?
