Yeah, flat just might be the best way to say it. Just off enough on offense and sloppy and lifeless enough on defense to put them into a hole that was too big to crawl out of.
I think Murray was on his A game today and the Cardinals targeted David Long a decent amount today. The 1st INT by Stafford on the deep ball was not a bad throw but the two 1st half turnovers definitely hurt.
And for all the talk of the Arizona OL hurting the Rams pass rush could not seem to take advantage. That was a big factor.
By the way, that 4th and goal call late with the empty backfield inside the 1 and low percentage throw to the sideline was just an awful call.
I also thought it was ridiculous that they had Stafford, Henderson and company in on that last drive with 3 minutes left. Did nothing but expose starters to potential injury. Poor judgement.
