As far as giving up points its been pretty effective. Other than a garbage TD the defense held the Bucs to 17. And as long as it is this effective the Rams are likely going to be hard to beat.
I am hoping the defensive philosophy will become more aggressive if needed.
I don't have a problem with Ramsey rushing the QB. He is a playmaker and seems to need to be involved to stay focused. And it appears to be effective. Sending Young on a delayed blitz from the secondary? Less so.
The OP makes a lot of good points. And if the Rams were giving up 30 points a game then I would be all in. I am not a fan of the approach either but I am good with the results. Personally I prefer a more aggressive style but the goal is to win and so far that is what is happening. No complaints.
