He is a major acquisition IMO. My concern is he runs too violently and increases the chance of being injured. But you can see the burst and the speed. And he seems to be comfortable catching the ball as well. I feel like he is getting ready to break out... and when he does, it's going to make things easier for Stafford. I think he lacks top end speed but he is fast enough and strong enough to do some real damage to a defense.
I like Henderson more as a complimentary back to Michel.
I agree. With even mediocre blocking, Michel is good for 4 yards a carry, and rarely, if ever loses yards. That cannot be overstated.
He also has great hands, in addition to being stellar at pass pro. He will not take it to the house (unless it's from 5 yards in), but his consistency running the ball is every bit as important as DJax stretching the back end. Rams O is handful for any team. Frankly, I don't know of a D that I don't believe we can beat. SF will be the real test. If Michel can consistently average 4 yards a carry, they're done.
