NOR is it a "Is Jackson a better deep threat than Woods" question...
But it's always seemed to me that Woods was capable of being a significant deep threat and was not utilized much in that way. In the way you say Jackson is going to open up Woods, Kupp, Jefferson, Higbee.... I thought Woods should have been given more chances to do the same thing. I'm speaking of years past. And again, NOT saying one is better than the other.
I had thought, and LORD I hope this doesn't start a big thing on the board... that it may have been McVay's assessment of Goff's abilities. If so... and now that that is not a factor... AND Jackson is onboard.... using Woods in that way STILL seems like a very viable option... thoughts? - JamesJM
