there is a difference....Watching the way Wentz would avoid sacks was truly unbelievable.....he was absolutely cornered and somehow bent out of it.....The whiffed tackles are another animal to me....I am seeing several players doing it....not playing pre season shouldn't IMO have a point to this....

I think it's more the design of the defense, where last year they were right there at the point of the ball coming to the offensive player. This year they seem to encircling the player and trying to snatch the ball out AFTER the ball is received....they seem to be trying to tackle the ball out instead of taking down the body holding the ball. Doing this can easily cause a missed tackle, going for the ball, not the body. Trying to do Raheems' MAD stuff.....

He's going to get his sacks as the season goes on, but as long as they play to rip the ball MORE then make a jarring tackle they'll be missing some shots. I think they are putting more emphasis on the rip over the fundamental tackles.
