Teams went for it on 4th down often yesterday.. either they were going on 4th more often, or it was reported more than usual as there were multiple attempts in each game I watched.

I think that's a product of the increased use of analytics in the game. Going for it on 4th when a punt or a FG attempt used to be in order is more a thing of the past.
