How can a team have a chance to win in "garbage time"?
Detroit started playing with about 5 minutes to go in the 4th down by 24. They had some nice drives capped by some good Goff throws. He was pretty bad in the first half missing guys consistently, and then in second half his guys were dropping passes right in there hands. He marched them down the field at the end and got some good throws in. 49ers were never really in danger and played accordingly as the lions came close to tying the game but they also never were in the lead. This was a lopsided victory that looks good on the stat sheet. I watched entire game and Detroit benefited from the prevent defense and shanny sitting on a three td and three 2pt conversion lead.
