I got him in my FF league.
It's a perfect opportunity for him but he's been in the league for 3 years and still hasn't started a season's worth of games. Hard to rely on a guy that hasn't proved he can handle a full season's workload. He's got a good YPC average in spot duty so maybe he's the next man up? Of course, Ravens are making calls to Bell and Freeman already so they may not think he's up to it.
We’ll see. Edwards has a great opportunity in a great environment. All he has to do is stay healthy and be productive. He doesn’t have to be Nick Chubb.
I took him in the 6th round, that’s 3 rounds later than where Dobbins had been going.
Not criticizing, just looking at the situation. Baltimore has a long history of plug and play RB's so it's possible Edwards will be the next example. I just hate drafting a RB that is such an unknown. Of course, I was forced into doing just that with my FFL team this year. Elliot and Harris are chock full of question marks.
But, teams with running QB's and a run-first mentality are usually pretty solid at RB. I remember when Dunn took off with Vick at QB. As you say, if Edwards just stays healthy, he'll be a solid RB at least and great value in the 6th.
Reports are Edwards tore his ACL in practice today(as did Marcus Peters).
Darn that playing your starters and going HAM in the preseason coming back to bite the Ravens.
