The Noles go out of their way to play it more and LOUDER during the Gator games! One of my favorite memories at a Gator / Noles game was 1991. The Noles brought their band and about 15K fans to The Swamp. Every time Gator fans heard the Noles Band Leader do the whistle blow to start the chant, 75,000 Gator fans would simply SCREAM as loud as possible. I swear it got so loud, we could see the Noles band playing their instruments but could not hear a single note. THAT WAS AWESOME!!!
And OOH!! My Dad took me to the 1985 Gator Bowl game. It was FSU vs Oklahoma State, I believe. They wore that chant OUT that night. It was so bad that a hard core / old timer Noles fan behind us grumbled "ENOUGH!"
