I agree with this. Blanton, Perkins, Obo and three or four other guys are more likely to clear waivers or be easily replaceable than Perkins. Quarterback is just too important of a position. Remember most other teams have players that they're hoping no one snatches as well. This is an easy decision to me. Plus I could really see Perkins being occasionally useful as a change of pace. He does seem to have a knack for moving the ball down the field.
