He was named honorable mention All-Mountain West as a sophomore returner, scoring twice on kick returns (15-508-33.9) while also contributing as a five-game starter at corner (30 tackles, two interceptions, four other pass breakups, two forced fumbles in 13 contests). He garnered honorable mention honors as a defensive back as a junior (39 tackles, 2.5 for loss, one interception, nine pass breakups) and senior (37 tackles, one interception, which he returned for a score, and eight pass breakups).

Analysis
By Lance Zierlein
NFL Analyst

Overview
Despite playing outside cornerback in two of his last three years as a starter, Hall will clearly be viewed as a slot corner due to his lack of height and length. He struggles with recovery burst when asked to flip his hips and run, but does flash a twitchy downhill trigger when allowed to keep throws in front of him. He gets lost with his back to the ball and will struggle to phase and shadow NFL route runners. He lacks strength and toughness in run support but his kick-return talent is a plus in his favor.

Strengths
Offers roster flexibility as slot corner and kick returner
Career kick-return average of 31.7 yards
Has 25 passes defensed, including four interceptions, over three years
Adequate feet and hips to open and transition
Crowds into receiver's catch space as quickly as possible
Able to gather and trigger from a backpedal
Closing burst to the ball has some juice
Heckles the catch-point with above-average hand timing

Weaknesses
Plays tall, slowing change-of-direction quickness
Could struggle in facing an NFL slot
Inconsistent gaining proper depth from zone
Allows too much separation at break points
Below-average recovery burst put him in a dangerous trail
Gets himself in positional trouble downfield
Doesn't get eyes around to find the football
Plays small in run support
