Others have been better and our offense is not on par with the one Martz ranor the Vikes of yesteryear so while I think it is a nice offense I dare say we do not have the proven weapons that I would stack up against the GOT.
That said. If there is an advantage with McVay calling in plays up to the last second then this year will have to prove it. Stafford is a 11 yr Vet I believe so asking him to listen to McVay ramble is not a plus for him since it is not a 2-way communication.
BTW is McVay the only coach on record as doing this?
The best part of our offense is when the OL is unbeatable and our Running game is unstoppable (Gurley's best) and our QB is able to Playaction is but off. Goff was great with that.
Stafford has been in several systems but they all look the same to me because utlimately they all came down to him playing hero ball to make it interesting. He would ocassonally look all world but not for whole games and not for a lot of wins. I really can't wait to see what it all means but it certainly should not mean that Staffords play would take a dip if anything if the system and the play-calling is better than I think He should be a plus for his career and for our team.
I feel like we are gonna find out. If this is perfect union we will be thrilled but if this is not a great marraige, I am thinking that we are gonna have serious fall-out and a major overhaul will be considered.
I do not see this as a 2 year plan. I think this was a 1 yr plan with a 2 yr price tag.
