and as I said above, he could double as a mentor to the young guys. by doing that you may get a bit more out of them when called on this season. he's not needed as an every down back, fit into the rotation well IMO. Been around and seen it all so he could be picked up late in the pre season even into the reg. season.
that's what they will do, a guy like that can be brought in any time, as long as he stays in shape. He can pick up his role fast, he knows how to pass protect......has played with our QB is an important piece.
