With Akers out for the Season "Stafford pressure has Risen 10 fold"

Very sad for Akers on many levels after the news today.

Broken hearted, but I've already turned the page. This was more of a shocker because it happened pre-training camp.

Dude was likely busting his ass to be in the best shape of his life for the 2021 season.

If it had happened 2 or 3 weeks from now, it might of stung a tad less but there is no easy way to accept it.

There will be more long term injuries to star studded NFL players in the coming weeks and during the regular season.

We all know this happens every season. There is no way to stop it.

There will be midseason injuries to key players.

There will be late season injuries as the playoff dance sorts itself out with seedings.

It hurts a lot more when it's a star player on your favorite NFL team.

The pressure on Stafford just went up a couple of levels with the brutal loss of Akers.

For some fans, star RB's are one of the easier position groups to replace during the season.

Anyway we spin it, his loss of is going to be the talk of the town until we see his replacements step up their game when the season begins.

Stafford now has more pressure to elevate the offense with one of the Rams top 5 offensive players gone for 2021.

Stafford is good enough to compensate for Akers loss. I still vision a huge season coming in 2021.

Finally "Training Camp" starts in a few days. Feels like 2 years ago.
