Don’t write off TE Johnny Mundt… He's always getting kicked around

Johnny Mundt is considered a JAG by several football fans. He's not a special player at the TE position but he's improved a lot since his rookie season in 2017.

I don't write this guy off and I believe he has as good of a chance to make the final 53 as any of the other TE's on the Rams not named Tyler Higbee.

Mundt now has 4 years under his belt as a professional. There was nothing he showed last year that would give us red flags to assume his game didn't improve.

Do the Rams have better talent and depth at the TE position then they did in 2020? Maybe but until proven, Mundt is a favorite to make his way back on the final 53.
